Setting the Dose

In general an adult dose is one tablet, children 1/2 tablet and infants 1/4. The tablet should be chewed and mixed with the saliva before swallowing. In children it can be dissolved in a little water or mixed into food.

Active Elements tablets are made up of several different tissue salts. The amount of each tissue salt is tiny. They are entirely safe and will not interfere with any medication.

Nothing is gained by increasing the size of the dose but frequency of the dose may be varied as the occasion requires. It is better to take half a tablet twice as often than to take two whole tablets twice as often.

If you discover a time for taking and a frequency of dose that is better suited for your needs, this may be adopted.
